Republican Senators revealed their revised Health Care bill Thursday, which would attempt to hold down insurance costs for consumers. However, at least two Republican Senators have said that they are not swayed by the new bill. The new bill has been an attempt to bridge the gap between moderates and conservatives in the party. 50 of 52 Republican Senators will need to approve the bill for it to pass in the Senate.
Donald Trump has defended his son's participation in a meeting aimed at digging up dirt on Mr. Trump's opponent, Hillary Clinton, by saying that "most people would have taken that meeting." This is an interesting stance given his previous campaign rhetoric of distancing himself from the established political practices and standards.
Two Israeli police officers were killed by three Arab citizens in Jerusalem today. The two officers were guarding one of the most sacred sites for both the Jewish and Islamic faiths.
It's Bastille Day in France! President Trump is in Paris to celebrate the anniversary of the storming of the Bastille prison in the French Revolution. He is also there to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States entering World War I.
A federal judge ruled that Grandparents should be exempt from President Trump's travel ban, should be considered close enough family, and therefore should be admitted into the United States. The Supreme Court will make a permanent decision on the ban in the autumn.
